Did You Know?
New Members are welcome to set up a free appointment with our Wellness Coordinator and get a detailed description of our group exercise classes. We will also go over your own goals and look at your personal schedule to print off a calendar of classes and workout ideas that work for YOU and help you meet those goals. This free “personalized exercise prescription” will include a follow up and see what changes need to be made to keep you moving towards those goals!
Group Exercise Classes
Whether you are just getting started with an exercise program or someone who is already active, the Beatrice Y has a variety of programs to help you reach or maintain your fitness goals! Group exercise is a great way to get moving, make new friends and stay motivated. We offer classes for all levels.

Youth in the Wellness Room
As of June 1, 2019, we have changed the age of youth able to use the Wellness Room to 11 years of age. Please follow the rules listed below:
- Youth aged 11-14 can use the Wellness Room AFTER having been trained by our Health & Wellness Director OR after training with Dr. Ruiz.
- Youth that have been properly trained must stop at the front desk to check in where they will be given a red arm band to wear during their workout. (This armband allows staff working in the Wellness Room to see that youth have been properly trained). When the workout is over the armband needs to be returned to the front desk.
- Youth may only use the Wellness Room during regularly staffed hours; no 24-hour access available to anyone under age 18.
- Youth ages 14 and up are allowed to use the Wellness Room without being trained, but do so at their own risk.
Those found to not be following the rules may forfiet their Wellness Room privileges as well as their membership.

Rounds 4 Pounds
Rounds 4 Pounds combines technology & circuit training for anyone who wants a fun, proven workout that guarantees results! Rounds 4 Pounds offers a kick boxing-themed fitness program that incorporates functional, interval, cardiovascular, and weight training regimens. This class consists of nine challenging workout stations. Rounds will start every 3 minutes with each workout lasting approximately 27-30 minutes.

Katie Hanquist (morning classes): SCW Personal Training Certified
Available Class Times:
Monday, Wednesday, & Friday Mornings 5 – 7 am (last round will need to begin by 6:30 am)
Tuesday & Thursday Evenings 6:15 – 8:15 pm (last round will need to start by 7:45 pm)
Initial sign-up fee: $89 (includes gloves, heart rate monitor and 1 month of R4P)
Option 1: Month to Month
Members: Single = $44.99/month; Partner Program = $80/month
Non-Members: Single = $64.99/month; Partner Program = $120/month
Option 2: 3-Month Agreement
Members: Single = $37.99/month; Partner Program = $66/month
Non-members: Single = $54.99/month; Partner Program = $100/month
Option 3: 6-Month Agreement
Members: Single = $29.99/month; Partner Program = $50/month
Non-members: Single = $44.99/month; Partner Program = $80/month
All registrations and payment will take place online; no registration at the YMCA front desk.
